Prerequisites

In order to be eligible to undertake the BSW (Hons) students must achieve the following results: an Honours result in each of the following subjects: 196-215-6/315-6/415-6 Social Work & Social Change 1 and 2; 196-212-3/312-3/412-3 Human Behaviour 7 the Social Environment 1 and 2; 196-309-310 Social Work Theory & Practice 1 and 2; and Passes in the subjects 196-318 Professional Practices Laboratory and 196-319 Supervised Professional Practice 1 (NB these subjects do not require Honours results). AND an overall average of H2A.

Subject Description

This subject focuses on the study of research methods and their application to an agreed social-work related topic.

Assessment

An honours thesis of up to 12,000 words.
