Subject Description | This subject incorporates an ecological mode of psycho-social development and adaptation across human life span. After taking this subject, students should be able to identify the significant bio-psycho-social transitions associated with the development of individuals from infancy to old age, understand patterns of individual variation, and have developed their awareness of the importance of class, gender and culture. They should also be able to reflect critically on the theoretical perspectives and value assumptions implicit in the literature relevant to subjective experiences and in students' own beliefs and attitudes. |
