Subject Description | An examination of criminal behaviour relating to medical practice, the involvement of medicine in criminal justice agencies, the professional regulation of medicine, consideration of various criminal offences related to medical practice; interpretation of various case studies concerning the regulation of medicine by law; the inter-relationship of law, crime and medicine; and the assumptions about bodily subjectivity in medico-legal discourse. |
Assessment | Up to 5000 words of written work at 3rd year level and 6000 words at 4th year level. An examination may be substituted for part of the written work. |
