Subject Description

Analysis of empirical techniques and evaluation practices in criminology. As a result of this material students should be able to evaluate reports of empirical research in criminology and plan a piece of empirical criminological research.

Assessment

Up to 5000 words of written work at 3rd year level and 6000 words at 4th year level. An examination may be substituted for part of the written work.
