Subject Description

Russian phonology, morphology and morpho-phonology. Students who complete this subject should: be able to demonstrate a firm understanding of the relevant areas of the Russian language; be able to describe particular sections of the system in appropriate linguistic terms; be able to relate the Russian system to other languages that they have studied.

Assessment

Regular assignments and two 1-hour papers, totalling 5000 words.
