Subject Description | The subject considers a number of ethical dilemmas that managers are likely to face (e.g., conflict of interest, probity, outside employment, the release of information, ‘whistle blowing’). Students will gain knowledge of measures that have been taken to improve ethical standards within the Victorian public sector and in other states. They will also become familiar with the Code of Conduct issued by the Victorian Public Service Commissioner; and gain an understanding of the service values and principles. |
