Subject Description | The subject will examine American society and culture since the 1960s, focusing particularly on race, gender, class, the recent debates around political correctness and multiculturalism and the theme of small government in American political debate. The subject aims to give students some critical and contextual understanding of current debates about the present and future of US society and cultures. |
Assessment | Written work totalling 5000 words. |
