Subject Description | An advanced study of problems and issues in contemporary epistemology. Students will gain an acquaintance with a topic of current research interest in the area and develop relevant research skills. |
Assessment | One 3-hour end-of-semester examination. An alternative assessment by up to 4000 words of essay-work (either during the semester or as a take-away examination) may be permitted; students unable to complete this essay by the due date will be required to sit the examination. Students will be advised in the first week of the subject if this option is available. |
