Subject Description | Some major texts and themes in phenomenology and existentialism will be studied providing students with a general knowledge of this tradition. On completion of the subject students should be able to engage in detailed exegesis of philosophical texts and to critically examine philosophical arguments and theses. |
Assessment | One 2-hour end-of-semester examination, written assignments totalling no more than 3000 words, and regular attendance and participation in tutorials. |
