Subject Description | This subject emphasises interpreting and translation skills. On conclusion of the subject students will be able to translate more complex Chinese and documentary Chinese texts than those studied in Chinese 4A, and will be able to discuss the contents of those texts in Chinese. |
Assessment | Second and Third Years: One oral examination (20 minutes); one written examination (3 hours); classwork to a maximum of 1000 words. Fourth Year: One oral examination (20 minutes); one written examination (3 hours); classwork to a maximum of 2000 words. |
