Subject Description | An advanced subject in written and spoken Chinese. On conclusion of the subject students will be able to translate newspaper Chinese and documentary Chinese texts, and will be able to discuss the contents of these texts in Chinese. |
Assessment | Second and Third Years: One oral examination (10 minutes); one written examination (2 hours); classwork to a maximum of 2,500 words. Fourth Year: One oral examination (10 minutes); one written examination (2 hours); classwork to a maximum of 3,500 words. |
