Six hours per week: one computer class; one language laboratory; four language classes

Subject Description

There will be four classes for separate activities each week: Computer Lab, Listening, Speaking and Reading. Topics cover everyday situations. 100 new characters will be introduced.

Assessment

Assignments and quizzes totalling not more than 3,500 words (1st year level) or 2,500 words (2nd/3rd year levels) in written work; one 2-hour written examination; one oral/aural perception test (maximum 30 minutes). Students are required to attend a minimum of 70 percent of all classes in order to be eligible to take the examinations.
