Subject Description

Advanced spoken and written Chinese for students who have completed Standard Chinese 2A. By the conclusion of this subject students will be able to read independently a variety of original Chinese materials and to conduct discussions in Chinese on social and cultural issues.

Assessment

One oral examination (10 minutes). One written examination (maximum 3 hours). Translations, exercises, essays and/or short tests to a maximum of 2,500 words.
