Subject Description

Advanced spoken and written Chinese for students who have completed Chinese 3A. By the end of this subject students will be able to read independently a variety of original Chinese materials and to conduct discussions in Chinese on social and cultural issues.

Assessment

One oral examination (10 minutes); one written examination (maximum 3 hours), translations, exercises, essays and/or short tests to a maximum of 1800 words.
