Subject Description | Familiarisation with Malaysian Malay and with the way it differs from standard Indonesian. Familiarisation with the Arabic-derived Jawi script. Introduction to Malaysian culture, history, politics and society. |
Assessment | Class assignments totalling not more than 4000 words (60%), and a written 2-hour examination (40%). |
