This subject is about economic development in its political context. Economic planning done by the economists usually does not put the existing political system into consideration. This course will explore the existing theories dealing with this issue, and then study how these theories have been implemented in the Indonesian context. The theories will be discussed succinctly, and the course will concentrate on Indonesia as a case study.
