Prerequisites

Completion of five 2nd & 3rd year HPS subjects, including at least one 300-level subject. An average of H2B or above for your best five 200 or 300 level HPS subjects. Acceptance is subject to the availability of suitable topics and supervisors. Interested students should discuss their interests with potential supervisors, and with the Honours Coordinator or Head of Department.

Subject Description

An original, supervised research project of about 12,000 words in length.

Assessment

A written report (thesis) at the end of the year, of 10, 000 words (33.3% of the total mark for Honours as a whole).
