Subject Description

this subject covers an introduction to the Swedish language with emphasis on oral and reading skills. Students will develop a basic understanding of the Swedish language and develop skills in the integrated use of Swedish in spoken and written form. They will also develop a through knowledge of the principal grammatical structures of the language and will aim to achieve the level of language competency required for admittance into Beginners Swedish First Year B (126-142).

Assessment

Class papers and assignments of not more than 4000 words, and up to 4 hours of language tests.
