Six hours a week of intermediate language study

Subject Description

Acquisition and expansion of language skills through intensive language training. During the subject students will explore all major facets of the grammar of German. They will increase their vocabulary to a moderate level of complexity in speaking, aural understanding, reading and writing of German and achieve the level of competency required for admittance into Intermediate German B (126-104/204/304).

Assessment

One 3-hour language test (50%), a 1-hour listening comprehension test (10%), an oral exam (20%), and regular vocabulary tests throughout the semester (20%).
