Subject Description | Acquisition and expansion of language skills through intensive language training. During the subject students will explore all major facets of the grammar of German. They will increase their vocabulary to a moderate level of complexity in speaking, aural understanding, reading and writing of German and achieve the level of competency required for admittance into Intermediate German B (126-104/204/304). |
Assessment | One 3-hour language test (50%), a 1-hour listening comprehension test (10%), an oral exam (20%), and regular vocabulary tests throughout the semester (20%). |
