Subject Description | Seminars, directed reading and directed research on current topics in economic geography. Topics may be selected from: industrial restructuring, labour markets, Asian Pacific development, environment and economy. Students who complete this subject should: understand the current directions of research programs in economic geography; be aware of the theoretical and methodological principles underlying those research programs; know the central findings of those research programs, especially as they apply to Australia; be capable of undertaking directed research in one of those research programs. |
Assessment | Written work in the form of seminar and research papers of 6000 words. |
