Subject Description | Advanced stylistics based on a detailed analysis of modern literary and journalistic texts; advanced translation based on contemporary Australian and Italian literary and non-literary texts; conversation centred around discussion of a modern literary text. |
Assessment | Continuous assessment and class work (average of take-home exercises) plus one 2-hour end of semester test, one 1,000 word composition on prescribed novel, and a 20-minute oral test which will include discussion of the novel studied in conversation. |
