Subject Description | Language studies focuses on the spoken and written language of present-day Italy through regular weekly exercises in composition and translation as well as conversation. Cultural studies focuses on the history of Italy since 1945 as well as on the short story since 1945. |
Assessment | For language studies, continuous assessment (average of take-home exercises), plus one 2-hour end-of-semester written examination and a 15-minute Oral Test at the end of semester. For cultural studies, 2 1500 word essays. |
