Subject Description

Discussion of Albrecht Dürer's contributions to the cultural transformations in sixteenth century Germany. His role as a teacher, theoretician, printmaker, publisher and painter reflects his active involvement in Renaissance Nuremberg.

Assessment

Written work which may comprise class papers, essays, visual tests or take-home examinations totalling about 6000 words.
