Subject Description | History of the development of Syrian and Palestinian culture from the late Chalcolithic down to the Assyrian conquest. The subject makes extensive use of architectural evidence and figurative art. |
Assessment | 3000 words of written work (50%) and a 2-hour examination (or equivalent) at the end of semester (50%). |
Prescribed Texts | A reading guide will be made available to the students at the beginning of semester. |
