Subject Description | Reading literary texts; further work on grammar and syntax; translation exercises; Ancient Greek literary criticism. Students on completion of the subject should have read a number of Ancient Greek texts in the original and consolidated their knowledge of grammar and syntax. |
Assessment | Regular exercises and class tests (50%) and a 2-hour examination (50%). |
Prescribed Texts | A text will be made available through the Department. |
