Subject Description

Reading literary texts; further work on grammar and syntax; translation exercises, Ancient Greek literary criticism. Students on completion of the subject should have read a number of Ancient Greek texts in the original and consolidated their knowledge of grammar and syntax.

Assessment

Regular exercises and class tests (50%) and a 2-hour examination (50%).
