Psychology is the study of behaviour in both humans and animals. Psychologists study why people are the way they are or do the things they do. Psychologists also study abnormal behaviour - how it occurs and how it can be treated.
The Department of Psychology is one of the largest departments of psychology in the country. It offers a comprehensive undergraduate program including a wide range of elective options in third year. For those who are interested in continuing their study it also offers an honours program as well as coursework and research higher degrees.
