Content: | Functions of several variables: functions of several variables; inverse and implicit function theorems; Lagrange multipliers. Vector calculus: vector fields, gradient, divergence and curl; line, surface and volume integrals; divergence theorem, Stokes' theorem and Green's theorem; curvilinear coordinates; calculus of variations. | |
Assessment: | Up to 26 pages of written assignments and up to three hours of end-of-semester written examination. | |
