Objectives: | At the completion of this subject, students should have:

Content: | This subject provides students with a foundation of descriptive and analytical tools useful for understanding and communicating about informational, organisational, and computational processes. Topics include counting, propositional logic, truth tables, sampling, and inference; information and process mapping; and program execution time and parallel computation. | |
Assessment: | One written exam of up to three hours; individual and group assignments which together are expected to take about 25 hours. The weighting of the assessment components will be announced at the commencement of the subject. | |
