Content: | Metal and main group chemistry: coordination, cluster and organometallic species; reactivity, including redox and catalytic processes; applications of nuclear magnetic resonance and related structural techniques. | |
Assessment: | One 3-hour written examination at the end of Semester 1. Practical work will be continuously assessed. Satisfactory performance in both theory and practical work is necessary before credit can be granted for this subject. | |
