26 lectures (3 per week for nine weeks) 39 hours practical work; 33 hours applied physical chemistry practical assignment

Objectives:

As for 610-310 plus:

  • to introduce students to aspects of applied physical chemistry and its importance to industry and the environment.

Content:

  • applied physical chemistry practical assignment.

Assessment:

One 3-hour exam at the end of Semester 1; assignments not exceeding 12 pages. Satisfactory completion of the practical work is necessary before credit can be granted for this subject.
