Objectives: | On completion of this subject, students should:

Content: | Students will undertake an original investigation of an environmental problem, working in small groups. The project will involve field or laboratory observation, accessing of data bases and a literature review of an approved topic. All projects will emphasise the interaction between the physical and biological environments. | |
Assessment: | Individual's contribution toward the group project (15%), a written report of 3000 to 5000 words (70%) and oral presentations before an audience of students and teaching staff (15%). | |
