Objectives: | This subject covers the scientific study of the basic principles of Pathology in more detail than 531-301. Students taking this subject will be strongly encouraged to do 531-303. | |
Content: | Cell injury; inflammation and repair; vascular disorders; growth disorders including neoplasia; nutritional disorders; genetic and developmental disorders; infectious diseases; immunopathology. | |
Assessment: | A 1-hour end-of-semester written examination. | |
