Objectives: | By the end of this subject the student should:

Content: | Terminology of topographic anatomy. Principles related to each type of anatomical structure; skin, fascia and skeletal muscles, bones and joints, vessels, nerves and viscera. Organisation of the back, thorax and upper limb into regions, and the specific structures forming the boundaries and contents of these regions. Applied anatomy of the back, thorax and upper limb. | |
Assessment: | A 2-hour written examination, a 40-minute practical examination at the end of the semester. | |
