Objectives: | On completion of this subject students should have developed scholarly skill in the methods of iconographical analysis and classification, and a familiarisation with the principal scholarship in this field. | |
Content: | Principles and methods of classification of musical content in visual representations; analysis of art works for musicological purposes. | |
Assessment: | Seminar papers (50%); end-of-semester project (50%). | |
