Objectives: | At the conclusion of this subject the student should:

Content: | High level digital image processing, correction and classification; applications of remote sensing in the geosciences, engineering, and resource assessment and inventory; image data in geographic information systems. Project based use of image processing systems. | |
Assessment: | Not more than two hours of written examinations and tests, and not more than the equivalent of 20 pages of written assignments and reports on practical work. The relative weighting of the assessment components will be published at the commencement of the subject. | |
