Objectives: | At the conclusion of this subject the student should:

Content: | An introduction to various computer hardware configurations and systems software with an emphasis on the installations available to the Department of Geomatics. Presentation managers, window systems and graphical user interfaces. Physical and cognitive ergonomics. | |
Assessment: | Not more than two hours of written examinations and tests and not more than the equivalent of 40 pages of written assignments and reports on practical work. The relative weighting of the assessment components will be published at the commencement of the subject. | |
