Objectives: | At the conclusion of this subject the student should:

Content: | Practical exercises and tutorials involving surveying coordinate systems, linear distance measurement, differential levelling - instrumentation and calibration, electronic distance measurement, theodolite- measurements and calibration, 2-D and 3-D theodolite and distance traversing, topographic surveying. | |
Assessment: | Not more than the equivalent of 80 pages of written assignments and reports on practical work. The relative weighting of the assessment components will be published at the commencement of the subject. | |
