Objectives: | On completion of this subject students should have an appreciation of some facets of research in Computer Science and an in depth exposure to at least one area. | |
Content: | A series of lectures on varied topics in Computer Science. The detailed content will vary from year to year, depending on staff interests. | |
Assessment: | Written work and possibly computer programs, not exceeding 4000 words in total. A satisfactory performance on each piece of set work is required to pass the subject. Weighting of assessment components will be made known at the commencement of the subject. | |
