Content: | Interfacing memory and simple peripheral devices to a microprocessor, Serial and parallel I/O. Program development using assembler. Design of sequential digital circuits including asynchronous systems, implementation of digital systems using programmable gate arrays. | |
Assessment: | A two-hour examination; practice classes, tests, assignments and project reports, not exceeding 20 pages. | |
