421-444 Vacation Work (Practical Experience - Civil)

Objectives:

At the conclusion of 12 weeks' appropriate experience students should have an appreciation of some of the practical aspects of Civil Engineering and have gained some insight into aspects of working as a member of a team.

Content:

Satisfactory completion of 12 weeks' approved vacation work experience.

Assessment:

Satisfactory completion of a vacation work diary and a report of not more than 3000 words due at the end of first semester of a student's final year of study.
