Objectives:

At the conclusion of this series of designs students should have gained experience in dissecting design problems into smaller, analytically tractable components. Students should recognise and become familiar with appropriate Standards governing particular aspects of their designs.

Content:

Design projects. Steel structures and general engineering practice.

Assessment:

Assessment for pass only will be based on the designs submitted in Steel Structures and Engineering Practice.
