Objectives:

Students successfully completing this unit will have developed improved skills in the areas of:

  • practical project planning and execution;

  • critically analysing the work of themselves and others;

  • communicating technical information, both in writing and orally;

  • time management;

  • teamwork.

Content:

The undertaking, as a member of a team, of a designated investigative project; the preparation of a written report on the project.

Assessment:

By a combination of supervisor's assessment (25%); oral presentation (25%); report (50%).
