Handbook 1997 : Faculty of Education : Outdoor Education
The outdoor education sequence offered to BEd(Secondary) and BEd(Primary) students is currently being phased out.
The sequence of study has been approved by the Directorate of School Education as satisfying minimum qualification requirements for vacancies in Outdoor Education in Directorate of School Education secondary colleges. Outdoor Education is offered as part of Education studies through the Teaching Method in Outdoor Education. The subjects are conducted during normal lecture times and/or in periods other than teaching weeks.
BEd (Primary) students should also refer to the entry under Health and Environmental Studies.
