English

First and second year English subjects are offered by the English Department in the Faculty of Arts. English A range of third year studies are offered by the Faculty of Education, a number of which are related to the English classroom, and so are designated as link studies.

Twenty five points in first year English is the normal prerequisite for all subjects offered at second year. The prerequisite for third year English is normally a pass in 33.3 points of second year English subjects.

Third year students will normally take three 11.1 point Language and Literature C subjects, or 33.3 points of third year English subjects. Language and Literature D subjects are available in fourth year.
