Objectives: | On completion of this subject students should be able to demonstrate knowledge and/or skills appropriate to the following:

Content: | Study and performance of a wide range of repertoire, composing and/or arranging, research into the repertoire and resources available to the chosen ensemble. Students are required to direct rehearsals and performances and to be involved in organisational work for the ensemble. The emphasis will be on repertoire suitable for use in schools. | |
Assessment: | Ensemble participation/direction/performance (60%); assignment work including a 10-minute recording (40%). Students must complete all projects and assignments. | |
