Objectives: | On completion of this subject students should be able to:

Content: | Students research, develop and undertake an intensive personal program of study related to a specific area of textiles and/or clothing. Emphasis will be placed on thorough research and the development of original concepts expressed through the use of appropriate techniques demonstrated at an advanced level. Students undertake 10 days of related Field Experience. | |
Assessment: | A folio of five practical projects drawn from the various units of study supported by the inclusion of detailed preliminary research (75%), a research project equivalent to 1500 words (15%) and two exhibition reviews equivalent to 1000 words (10%). Students must satisfactorily complete the Field Experience component. | |
