Prerequisite/s: | Teaching Method in Mathematics - Junior 1C and at least 100 points in Mathematics subjects, preferably including studies in each of Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Statistics. | |
Pre/Corequisite/s: | (For each Teaching Method D) Satisfactory completion of Education Studies C, School Experience C and a minimum of 250 points credit in the course. Concurrent enrolment in Education Studies D and School Experience D12. | |

Objectives: | On completion of this subject students should be able to:

Content: | A detailed consideration of the VCE Mathematics Study Design, including the work requirements for the Study. Methods of teaching some of the important concepts in senior secondary mathematics. | |
Assessment: | Short weekly assignments (30%); an assignment on assessment in Year 11-12 mathematics (30%); a major planning assignment (25%); a class presentation on a mathematic topic suitable for use with Year 11-12 pupils (15%). All assignments must be completed. | |
