Objectives: | On completion of this subject students should be able to:

Content: | This subject will involve students in examining current mathematics teaching and learning practices in primary schools. Students will consider issues related to operating effective mathematics programs, including: planning, organisation, implementation and evaluation. | |
Assessment: | Two major projects totalling 3000 words: (1) Teaching Methods Research assignment (60%); and (2) Unit Planning assignment (40%). | |
