Objectives: | On completion of this subject students should be able to:

Content: | This subject aims to develop competency in the teaching of mathematics in the primary school. In particular, it focuses on the study of methods, materials and activities appropriate for developing a child's understanding of mathematical concepts and skills. | |
Assessment: | One major project and other assigned work totalling not more than 5000 words. Hurdle requirement: Satisfactory completion of a negotiated contract of study, class teaching tasks and presentations. | |
